We are working to reschedule this free and fun community event for later in the summer and look forward to sharing the new date! Activities include blood pressure checks, exercise demos, music, and food. THANK YOU Representative Brandy Fluker-Reid for visiting the Harbor Health PACE Mattapan day center this week! During her visit, Representative Fluker-Reid saw the day center where our Elder Service Plan participants enjoy activities like Bingo and musical guests…Popped into the day center’s library where participants have access to quiet space, books, and a computer…and stepped outside into the day center’s garden space for a photo. She also met with Harbor’s CEO Susan Yee and members of our Elder Service Plan team to hear more about the care and support we offer older adults. We were grateful for the visit and the opportunity to express our appreciation for her dedicated efforts to advocate for the PACE program and support healthcare access for all ages in our community!!❤

Harbor Health’s Harbor Health PACE is celebrating 30 years of providing older adults in our community with healthcare, support at home, and community services!! During a recent Bingo day at our day center in Mattapan, participants gathered for a photo as they gave a celebration cheer for the program.🎉 We opened the doors to Elder Service Plan in 1996 to respond to the growing need for more healthcare options for older adults with limited resources so they can continue living in their homes and communities. All eyes were smiling this St. Patrick’s Day at Harbor Health’s Harbor Health PACE day center in ! Special guest singers Amy Korim (with accordion), Brockton City Councilor Jack Lally, Brockton City Councilor Shirley Asack, State Senator Michael Brady, Tony Donnegan, Brockton City Clerk Tim Cruise, Register of Deeds John Buckley, Plymouth County Commissioner Greg Hanley, Brockton City Councilor Susan Nicastro, Brockton City Councilor Tom Monahan, and Todd Petti had our participants clapping, laughing, and sing along to Irish ballads - with a little John Denver thrown in. Thank you to our special guests and day center staff for making it a festive day for everyone!!☘️

Sixty years ago, Dr. Jack Geiger and Dr. Count Gibson opened the Columbia Point Health Center, now Harbor Health's Geiger Gibson Community Health Center, in . It was the first community health center in the country, built on the belief that better healthcare access could help communities overcome poverty and gain greater voice in their own wellbeing.

ATTENTION: The Elder Service Plan day center in Brockton, Ellen Jones Community Dental Center, Harbor Community Health Center-Plymouth, and Harbor Community Health Center-Hyannis will be closed on Wednesday, February 25. We will keep patients and staff updated when power is restored to our Plymouth and Cape locations. Geiger Gibson Community Health Center, Daniel Driscoll-Neponset Health Center, and the Elder Service Plan day center in Mattapan will be open regular business hours.
