At UFI, we are reminded that access to land, fresh food, and spaces where communities can gather, grow, and thrive are part of that legacy. What began as a vision has become a community-rooted institution because people believed in what was possible and worked together to make it real.

Today, we honor those who came before us, celebrate all who continue this work, and look ahead to the generations who will carry it forward.

Caring for the earth starts right where we are 🌱

This morning, a group of volunteers and neighbors gathered at the farm to share breakfast, make buttons, and spend time in community before heading out to pick up trash from the surrounding blocks.

Earth Day reminds us that caring for the land is also caring for each other. At UFI, that work continues every day in how we grow food, share space, and show up for community. 💚

We're grateful for everyone who came through to take care of this space with us.
