With amazing raffles, a great host of speakers, and a wonderful concert at the end, we made our first fundraiser a historic one!

Mass Union is proud to be working with our partners and trainer Todd Fry for a two-part webinar series about negotiating a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with your Local Housing Authority next week on June 16th and the second part on July 9th! MOUs create a bridge between tenants and housing authorities for resolving issues and fostering a dialogue. And yesterday, hot off the press, we posted the updated Memorandum of Understanding Know Your Rights Booklet to pair with the webinar. Dear friends,

What a night! We can’t thank you enough for attending Mass Union’s first-ever fundraiser, a collaboration with the amazing LUCE Immigrant Justice Network of MA. We had over 90 people present, and we are so thrilled to report that we raised over $10,000! The funds will be split between our two organizations, allowing our immigrant and tenant-led movements to keep fighting for their right to housing! Our raffle was a huge success and we ended the night with a great show from JP Honk keeping everyone's spirits high and energizing us for the fight ahead! Thank you so much to everyone who came, everyone who donated and everyone working together in the fight for public housing!
