We are delighted to announce our third 2023 in the 2023 Boston Marathon participant, running on behalf of the Irish Pastoral Centre Annmarie Mackinnon!

MEET ANNMARIE: My name is Annmarie Mackinnon I grew up in Dorchester with strong Roots to Ireland my parents are from Connemara. I have worked for MGH for 23 years and started running at the age of 40 when I joined L St. running club this will be my first official Boston Marathon and I feel blessed to run for the Irish pastoral Center. Thank you!

We are delighted to announce our second 2023 dedicated Irish Pastoral Centre runner, Eddie Marquis who has chosen to run for us in the 2023 Boston Marathon!

Meet Eddie: I’ve been running for many years but joining the Quincy Running Club 5 years ago changed my life. The group is more like family than friends. We support each other, train hard and share a lot of laughs and good times along the way. An ideal day for me is hitting the pavement before dawn with the amazing QRC Early Birds so I can be home in time to get my son ready and off to school. I’m thrilled to be running the Boston Marathon this year for the Irish Pastoral Center. I love that IPC services are available to all, and I’m impressed by their incredible commitment to crisis response.

We are delighted to announce our first 2023 dedicated Irish Pastoral Centre runner, Rita O'Toole who has chosen to run for us in the 2023 Boston Marathon!

"My name is Rita O'Toole. I'm from the Aran Islands, Co Galway. I came to Boston with my sister Deirdre the summer of 1990 and I’m still here. I joined the Quincy running club in 2018. I've made lifelong friends in this group. I do a lot of my runs before I start my workday at Eversource Energy where I’ve worked for 22 years. I am honored to be running the Boston marathon this year for the Irish Pastoral Centre. They do so much for the Irish community in Boston."
