When the Emmanuel Gospel Center in Boston approached us to make a documentary about Settled, we were thrilled! They filmed for 4 days, and got a lot of really great stories captured of our community. They were such sweet guests and we became fast friends. We can't wait to see the film they create. Thank you for choosing to tell Settled's story! And please give them a follow to keep track of their progress.

Church leaders don’t usually lose their buildings over big dramatic failures. It’s usually the more quiet things: a lease no one reviewed, a maintenance list that kept getting pushed back, a volunteer stretched too thin to catch a mistake.

EGC’s Exploring Church Spaces project talked with church leaders across the region about what actually goes wrong with property and buildings, and what helped them avoid it.

Full findings are available on our website. Link in the bio!

This weekend, we gathered with hundreds of ministry partners in Quincy to Testify of God’s goodness and restorative power!

We are so grateful to continue this work of shalom seeking together. The evening was full of good food and fellowship as Christians testified through song and powerful stories of ministry.

If you missed the event and want to watch the playback, click the link below. You can also give toward our fundraiser goal as we are still receiving contributions this week. Thanks!

How should the church respond to what's happening with immigration right now?

Gregg Detwiler, founder of EGC's Intercultural Ministries initiative, wrestles honestly with that question in a new article — approaching immigration not primarily as a political issue, but as a human, theological, and missiological one.

It's a thoughtful, biblically grounded read for anyone trying to figure out what faithful, Christlike presence looks like in this moment.

New England didn't just shape American history — it helped shape how the church trains its ministers.

From Harvard's founding to the flourishing of Bible institutes in local churches, the region has been a laboratory for theological education for centuries. Senior Researcher Rudy Mitchell traces that history and explores what it means for gospel ministry training today.

From Harvard College to Bible institutes meeting in churches, Boston and New England have a long history of innovation in theological education and ministry training. The successes and failures of schools in the past can help shape and inspire a new vision for training men and women for gospel minis
