The Maryville Lions participated in the Keep Blount Beautiful Litter P/U around the Blount County Library and the streets leading to Kroger on Hall Road. We had a group of about 20 participate - some groups and several individuals. In a matter of a little over one hour we collected over 100 lbs of trash - everything from the usual to a rug, a blanket, a mangled bangle bracelet and several small one-drink size Fireball bottles! It was too hot to do much more than that but it was pretty successful for what we did!

🚗🌧️ OTTO Classic Car Rally Update: New Date Announced!

Well… even the best-laid plans can’t outshine East Tennessee weather.

Due to rain today, we are postponing the OTTO Classic Car Rally (Oldies to the Oldies) to:

👉 Saturday, May 2, 2026

We know this is disappointing—but we also know these classic cars deserve to shine (and let’s be honest, nobody enjoys a soggy car show!).

The good news?
This gives everyone one more week to get ready for a fantastic event filled with great cars, great people, and a great purpose.

💛 Why It Matters
OTTO isn’t just a car show—it’s how we raise funds to support vision care right here in Blount County. From helping children see clearly in school to supporting seniors in maintaining independence, your participation truly makes a difference.

So mark your calendar, shine up those cars, and come join us next Saturday!

📍 Same location
⏰ Same time
📅 New Date: May 2

We can’t wait to see you there!
