**It’s Not Always Pretty… But It’s Worth It 🥚💛**

Did you know that many of the eggs we receive are donated from local stores—but often come with cracked and broken eggs?

Before these eggs can go out to families, our volunteers carefully:
🥚 Sort through each carton
🧼 Clean what can be saved
📦 Re-carton the good eggs

It’s not the easiest job, and it can get a little messy—but it’s one more way we make sure good food doesn’t go to waste and families in Blount County are cared for.

We are so thankful for the hands that serve behind the scenes and the stores that continue to partner with us.

Every egg saved is one more blessing for a family. 💙

Food rescue is a big part of what we do!

Local stores partner with us to donate food that would otherwise go to waste. Our volunteers sort and distribute these items to families in need.
It’s a beautiful example of community working together.
