Teases will air on WBIR at 7:30 and 7:50 am. The 3-minute story will air at 8:08 am. We are so proud of Neyland. 🥰

Meet Trooper, a handsome, loyal, and energetic 5 year old Bluetick Coonhound ready to sniff out his forever home! True to his breed, Trooper is a smart, scent-driven companion with a gorgeous mottled blue coat and soulful eyes. 👀 He is the ultimate partner for outdoor adventures and cozy couch 🛋️ snuggles alike. He is dog 🐶 and people 👫 friendly and dreams of a house 🏡 with a fenced in yard that he can play and explore in to get his hound energy out before he comes inside to have his afternoon nap. 💤 He was found all alone 😔 by a State Trooper in Sweetwater on the entrance ramp to I-75, 🚗 so hopefully one day we will find out all about his previous adventures. Sonic, now Sonja, has found her forever home! This girl spent many days hanging out at the Sweetwater Sonic begging for food. 🍲 This poor girl also looked like she's had a few litters. Those days are over! 🥳🥳🥳 She is now living the good life in Maryville. While she is not best friends with the resident cat, 🐈 they tolerate each other thanks to the training tips provided by Shane Hawkins. We are happy that she now has a great family to take care of her and a wonderful home 🏡 to keep her safe and out of the elements. A BIG THANKS to everyone who helped with her rescue and adoption. ❤️

**ADOPTED!!**
The last of our Sugar pups that went up north has been adopted, congratulations Brown Sugar!!! She’s off to Schuylerville, NY with this awesome family, who loves hiking and camping! They also have a Bernedoodle named “Keene” and Sugar’s new name will be “Marcy” after the High Peaks! Have a wonderful life, pupper! 🥾 🏕️ 🐕 Thank you Janet Lee for taking care of mommy and these pups and thank you Homeward Bound Dog Rescue for finding them such good homes. 💕

Meet Cosmo
After retiring from his many trips on the International Space Station, Cosmo is now ready to settle down. Although Cosmo is mostly used as a synonym for Universe, it comes from Greek, meaning harmony and order, which he does adore and searches for. 🥰
Cosmo is a Husky/Akita mix who is approximately 3 years old. He is fully vetted, neutered, and has had all his shots. (All space heroes have full medical check-ups.) He gets along great with pups 🐶 of all sizes, and loves to play, he is even in a foster home with a cat 🐈! He is crate and house 🏡 trained too! Cosmo would be an amazing family member for anyone looking for a playful, active, handsome, head-turning dog. 😁 Oh the stories he could tell. Today, we got to see the incredible impact that rescue, foster care, patience, and believing in an animal can have. We are so proud of every person who played a role in this special dog’s journey.

ADOPTED!
Our little Millie took no time after just leaving us this weekend and heading north with Homeward Bound Dog Rescue, she had already been adopted 😳. Her new family fell in love with her immediately and she’s going to have THE BEST home with 11 acres! Plenty of time home and a big yard to explore! Thank you to fosters Angel and Donnie, the foster family at Homeward Bound Dog Rescue and BCAWS that made this possible. ♥️

Three of our cute pups, Olive, Penny, and Millie, have left Blount County and have traveled up north thanks to Homeward Bound Dog Rescue of New York to find their forever families. Thank you to our wonderful fosters Susie, Bobby, and Angel for getting them ready to go, we can’t do this without the help of our foster parents. 💕 We will keep you updated on their adventures. 🐕
