Drum roll for Hank please! This handsome little guy had a big day - graduation from Troubled To Trained - All dogs need a leader they can trust, and setting off for life with his new family! They were so excited! Hank came to us scared of his own shadow, but no longer. Thank you to fosters Sue and Jim, and Shane Hawkins for making this happen! And thank you Beth Keasling for calling us. Happy life Hank!

Meet Cecil our little 3 year old Redbone Coonhound who is still waiting for a family to adopt or foster him. Sweet Cecil, was seized by the Monroe County Police 👮‍♀️ and was emaciated with large gaping wounds and even branded with the letter C on his hindquarters. 🤨 His security blanket is his food bowels which he carries everywhere. Our little Cecil carries his bowls out to go potty, into the playroom, to lay on the sofa, and to the outside play yard, ….After Cecil eats and drinks his water, he stacks his bowls back all by himself so he can carry them around again, 🥰 such a gentleman. Happy Gotcha Day yesterday to Shell and Bear two of our pups who traveled up north last month! Thanks to Homeward Bound Dog Rescue of New York on finding them great 🏡 and all the volunteers from both sides who helped these babies find their forever homes.

Yesterday’s run on the greenway started on a good note - the AROOOOO's I heard as I approached the dog park. Sounded like fun, so I picked up the pace. And lo and behold there was BCAWS alum Elliot - in the middle of the dog park proving he can still tree a squirrel, despite the fact he has his own people bed and gets a monthly Chewy box full of toys.

After much cajoling, he came over to greet me and give me a hound dog kiss. It was a good day.

Meet Bingo!
At only a year old, Bingo is a fun, playful, energetic young Cattle dog with so much life and love to give. He is kid-friendly, 👫 dog-friendly, 🐶 and cat-friendly, 🐱 making him a great candidate for a family with other pets or children.

Bingo does wonderfully in the house when he has a routine and is great in a crate. He loves playing with toys 🧸 and would enjoy an active family who can give him plenty of playtime, 🥏 exercise, attention, and continued training. He already knows several commands, including sit, down, and paw.

Because Bingo is still only a year old, he does have some youthful energy. He pulls a little on the leash when he’s excited, so he would benefit from a family willing to continue working on his leash manners and help him grow into the amazing adult dog we know he can be. He isn’t looking for a perfect family, he just needs someone who will give him patience, structure, love, ❤️ and the commitment to make him part of the family for good.

Meet Lady! I am a 3-year-old black lab. I am in Foster in Knoxville, Tennessee from Texoma Dog Ranch Rescue in Texas. I was stressed out at the Dog Ranch being in kennels all the time and around a lot of loud dogs so I was lucky enough to find a foster here in good old Tennessee.

I am a really sweet 💕and smart girl. I am 54 lbs and I have been spayed and fully vetted. I know some basic commands and I am house and crate trained. I have been in my foster home for a little over a month and I have really started coming out of my shell... oh and by the way I am dog friendly as my foster has two little Daschunds. I would do well in just about any home but preferably without younger children since I am only 3 with energy and might accidentally bump into one.
I would absolutely love a home that was active and could take me on lots of walks and have a nice fenced yard. 🏡 I promise I am a kind gentle soul and will love you forever. 🥰 I was rescued from a shelter a day before I was supposed to be euthanized 😳 due to space so I know I have a purpose for someone out there. 😇 For more information on me please email [email protected].
