🚨Two Dead, Two Injured in Early Morning Shooting🚨
The Marshall Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred early this morning at the Whataburger located on Victory Drive.
At approximately 1:50 a.m., Marshall Police Communications received a 9-1-1 call reporting a shooting at the restaurant. Marshall Police Department patrol officers responded to the scene and located multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds in the parking lot.
A total of four individuals were shot during the incident. Two victims were pronounced deceased, and two others were transported by Marshall Fire Department paramedics to local medical facilities for treatment of their injuries.
Marshall Police Department Criminal Investigations Division detectives, along with investigators from the Joint Harrison County Violent Crime and Narcotics Task Force, responded to the scene and immediately began the investigation.
Several partner agencies are actively assisting with the ongoing investigation, including the Harrison County District Attorney’s Office, Texas Department of Public Safety Texas Rangers, Harrison County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division, Texas DPS Patrol, and the Longview Police Department, which is providing jurisdictional assistance.
The identities of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
