🌽🎃 Tonight is the night! 👻🧡

The Haunted Corn Maze Fundraiser for Boomerang Mentoring is happening TONIGHT, and we couldn't be more excited!

My own children will be participating, which makes this event even more special to me. There is something truly incredible about watching young people come together, use their creativity, build confidence, and be part of something bigger than themselves.

At The Ripple Mission, we believe that when we give young people opportunities to belong, contribute, and discover what they're capable of, we're doing so much more than creating memories. We're helping shape their futures. ❤️

That's exactly why supporting organizations like Boomerang Mentoring matters.

Come get scared, share some laughs, make some memories, and most importantly, support a mission that's making a difference in the lives of our local youth!

❤️ Some days, I have to stop and remind myself that this is really happening.

Today, I sat down with AWARE Shelter to begin planning our next Ripple program. I also had the privilege of dropping off something incredibly special — our Community Ripple Library, which will become part of the program.

And as I stood there looking at that little library, I couldn't help but think about how much something so simple can mean.

To some, it's just a little wooden box that holds books. To me, it represents hope. Connection. Healing. A reminder that even in the hardest chapters of life, there are still people who care.

When I started The Ripple Mission, I didn't have all the answers. I didn't have a big organization, endless resources, or a roadmap. I just had a heart that knew what it felt like to struggle, and a deep desire to make sure someone else felt a little less alone.

And I'm still figuring things out as I go.

But today was another reminder of why I started.

I don't want The Ripple Mission to simply be something people hear about. I want it to be something people feel.

I want children to know they matter. I want adults to feel seen. I want families walking through difficult seasons to find moments of connection, encouragement, and hope.

I'm incredibly grateful to AWARE Shelter for continuing to believe in this mission and opening its doors to the possibilities of what we can create together.

There is still so much work to do. So much to learn. So many people I hope to reach.

But every program, every partnership, every book, and every small act of kindness is another ripple.

And I truly believe those ripples can change lives.

🎉 One year ago today! 🎉

The Heart Behind "The Ripple Mission"! 💙

As I kickstart this project I realized that this mission carries the love and legacy of so many that we have lost, there is beauty in the struggle, purpose in the pain and it has all been leading us to somethinh greater.

In the span of just a few years, our family said goodbye to many of the hearts who shaped who we are, my Aunt Linda, who's small acts had great impact; my father-in-law, who faced cancer with quiet strength and grace; my mother-in-law, whose sudden passing left a space that her love still fills; my Aunt Patty, who met her battle with cancer with faith and courage; and my Aunt Gerry, whose gentle heart stopped too soon. And there were others, each one leaving ripples of love, laughter, and kindness that continue to touch our lives.

Through our grief, something beautiful began to grow, a deeper purpose. We realized that the best way to honor their lives was to live as they did: giving, caring, and showing up for others. Their compassion became our calling. Their selflessness became our standard. Their light became our mission.

The Ripple Mission is more than a movement it’s our promise to turn pain into purpose. We want to teach our children that kindness matters, not just in grand gestures, but in everyday moments. That empathy and compassion can outshine division. That even the smallest act of love can create waves of hope.

Our mission is simple: to spread love in action. To keep their legacies alive by inspiring others to do good, one ripple at a time.

Because every act of kindness, no matter how small, sends out waves that reach further than we’ll ever know. 💙

🌿 Still Water Sunday | The Ripple Mission 💙

You can have a beautiful heart and still need a place to rest it.

Sometimes, we become so accustomed to being strong, showing up, holding everything together, and making sure everyone else is okay that we forget to ask ourselves one simple question:

How am I doing?

Not the answer we give when someone asks in passing. Not the smile we wear to reassure everyone else.

But the honest answer. The one we sometimes avoid because we're afraid of what we might feel if we finally slow down.

Here's your reminder this Sunday:

You are allowed to be tired without giving up.

You are allowed to love someone and still need boundaries.

You are allowed to outgrow situations you once prayed would last forever.

And you are allowed to choose peace without feeling guilty for the people who may not understand.

Even the strongest hearts need gentleness. Even the people who bring light to others need a little light of their own.

So today, give yourself some of the compassion you so freely offer the world.

You don't have to solve everything today. You don't have to carry every burden. You don't have to have all the answers.

Sometimes, healing begins when we stop asking ourselves to be everything for everyone and remember that we matter, too.

💙 Your Ripple Reminder: You deserve the same kindness, patience, and love that you spend your life giving to others.

🌽🎃 Sometimes the biggest impact begins with simply showing up.

Today, I had the opportunity to visit Jolo Farms to help plan the upcoming Haunted Corn Maze fundraiser benefiting Boomerang Mentoring.

What stood out to me most wasn't just the excitement surrounding the event. It was the excitement in the teens themselves. The smiles, the enthusiasm, the energy, and the adults coming together to make something special happen for them.

It was a beautiful reminder of why The Ripple Mission exists. ❤️

Every child deserves to feel seen, valued, included, and supported. Every young person deserves opportunities to make memories, discover their strengths, and know that people believe in them.

Boomerang Mentoring is doing exactly that. And I truly believe the impact of experiences like these will reach far beyond one evening. Years from now, these teens may forget the details, but they'll remember the laughter, the connections, and how it felt to be part of something meaningful.

I'm incredibly honored and grateful to be involved and to witness another organization pouring love and purpose into our youth.

Because when we invest in young hearts, we create ripples that can last a lifetime. ❤️

💙 Some of the deepest wounds our children carry are the ones we cannot see.💔

October is National Bullying Prevention Month, and at The Ripple Mission, we believe every child deserves to feel safe, accepted, included, and valued.

Bullying doesn't always happen on the playground or in the classroom. Sometimes it happens behind a screen, in a group chat, through a cruel comment, or by intentionally leaving someone out.

And sometimes, the children carrying the heaviest invisible backpacks are the ones who never say a word.

❤️ Parents, caregivers, educators, and community members, this reminder is for all of us.

Pay attention. Ask questions. Have the uncomfortable conversations. Teach children that their words have power, even when they're typed instead of spoken.

But let's also remember that teaching kindness isn't enough. We have to model it.

Our children are watching how we speak about others, how we handle disagreements, how we treat people who are different, and whether we choose to stand up for someone who is hurting.

Let's raise children who don't just avoid being bullies, but who have the courage to include the child sitting alone, speak up when something isn't right, and remind someone that they matter.

💙 A child should never have to change who they are just to feel like they belong.

This month, and every month, let's be intentional about the ripples we're creating.

Because one cruel word can stay with someone for years. But so can one act of kindness. 🌈
