Mark your calendars and save the date! The Remnant Ministries of Marshall is starting a new class/study we are calling ROOTED!

•Rooted• is an intentional look at core biblical doctrines like, “What is the Bible?” “How do we use prayer?” “What is prayer?”
It is a study of the truths of our faith and a simplified theological understanding so we can be the disciple makers Jesus commanded us to be.

It is open to all — men, women, teens, and young adults. It will begin on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 6pm, in the fellowship hall at Victory Baptist Church. We will continue meeting every Tuesday evening, same time and place. Please help us spread the word and invite someone to come join us! The past couple days we had a team head down to Ingram, TX, to provide relief to responders. We were able to set up camp with the mounted search teams and provide several meals that were well received.

After our final breakfast, before the last push with the horses, the camp gathered around to thank us and have us pray over them one last time.

We were able to have great, Christ-centered conversations and were blessed to minister to the people serving the community. We want to thank everyone who helped support, both back at home and on the way, to include Texas Baptist Men, Brandon, Ms. Nancy and all of our local friends and family. We will continue to pray for the families, communities, churches and responders affected by recent events.

Don’t forget that God is still sovereign and is at work. Seek Him and praise His name.

Good evening. We have had several people asking questions and felt this was the easiest way to contact the most people. We do have a group of people going down in the morning to Ingram, Texas in the hill country. This group will be cooking for the volunteers and first responders, counseling, and helping in any other way we can. This morning one of our founding member’s game warden academy classmates that has been working in Kerrville found a bottle that said “Mystic Medicine - daily dose of spiritual healing.” The verse she pulled for one of the troops was Isaiah 43:1-2:

“Now this is what the Lord says — the one who created you, Jacob, and the one who formed you, Israel  — “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and the rivers will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, and the flame will not burn you.”

🤘🏻MHS Senior Field Day🤘🏻 This is a great group of students who were so polite and gracious. They enjoyed their hotdog “brunch” after some good fun under the pavilion. Thank you to Janna Duck and Melissa Shaw for trusting us to serve you! We will definitely continue to pray for these seniors and the next steps — wherever the Lord leads them!

☀️♥️🤘🏻Today we celebrated at David Crockett Elementary with cinnamon rolls and taquitos! The teachers and staff have showed up and showed out with their commitment to our kids and we are so thankful for them!🤘🏻♥️☀️

🤘🌯We took Juanita out in the town after her big makeover and Price T. Young Fine Arts Academy teachers and staff were the winners this fourth six weeks for highest attendance! We sure are thankful to get to serve these gracious people. Thank you for showing up for our kids! Cinnamon rolls and taquitos are for winners!!🌯🤘

About a year ago we built a cook trailer {and named her Juanita} from mostly donated materials and she has served us well. That is until we started noticing bending and shifting that meant it was time for a makeover.

We are thankful to our community for the support and generous donations which made it possible for us to purchase a new trailer! This past weekend Juanita went to the {beauty}shop where we transferred everything over, and did a few modifications to help us work better. We are excited for our future adventures with Juanita 2.0!

🤘🏻🌯This morning we were up before the sun and able to celebrate the teachers and staff at William B. Travis Elementary & MEGS with breakfast for having the highest staff perfect attendance for the third six weeks! Thank you for letting us be a part of your day and most importantly, thank you for showing up for our kids. 🌯🤘🏻
