🇺🇸 Some battles are fought overseas.

Some are fought after coming home.

At Camp Bright Bird, we see veterans carrying burdens that can't always be seen. The camaraderie around a campfire, the laughter in the field, the bond between veterans, and the simple joy of a day outdoors can make a difference.

This October, 36 disabled veterans will come together for our 5th Annual Disabled Veterans Pheasant Hunt. For some, it's a hunting trip. For others, it's a chance to reconnect, heal, and remember they are not alone.

Thank you to our volunteers, donors, guides, dog handlers, and supporters who help make this mission possible.

This is where the healing starts.

🚨🍺👑 ROYAL EMERGENCY AT CAMP BRIGHT BIRD 👑🍺🚨

After spotting the Founder's legendary Pabst Blue Ribbon crown, a coalition of local pheasants has officially launched a resistance movement. 🦅⚔️

Their demands are as follows:
🌾 Unlimited birdseed 🚫 Fewer hunters 📅 Cancellation of all October activities

Camp Bright Bird officials reviewed the demands and issued the following response:

✅ More birdseed ❌ Fewer hunters ❌ Cancel October

In a statement released this morning, Camp Bright Bird confirmed that:

🇺🇸 36 veterans will still be hunting in October. 🎯 The pheasants are encouraged to remain calm. 🍺 The crown is not going anywhere.

At press time, pheasant leaders were reportedly considering relocation to another county.

Thank you so much to Horn Creek Pub 2 and everyone who participated. Your generous support takes disabled veterans on an all-expenses-paid Pheasant Hunt and literally changes lives.

I want to thank everyone who participated, donated and helped with the Poker Run yesterday!!! We had a great turnout, 53 buggies and 96 poker players. We were also able to raise $2,080 for Camp Bright Bird! This will help disabled veterans be able to go on a weekend pheasant hunt! You all are wonderful and thankful for each and every one of you.

Memorial Day is not about celebration — it is about sacrifice. We honor the brave men and women who gave everything in service to our nation, and we remember the families who carry that loss every day.

May we never forget the cost of freedom.
