Yolanda Turner , Class of 1987
A proud 1987 graduate of Wiley College, Yolanda Turner earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting. During her time at Wiley, she also became a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, an experience that further strengthened her commitment to sisterhood, service, leadership, and community. Her Wiley experience helped shape the values that have remained an important part of her personal and professional journey.
Professionally, Yolanda has built a successful career centered around service, relationship development, and the veterinary community. She currently serves as a Veterinary Regional Manager with Pet Meadow, where she works closely with veterinary hospitals and professionals throughout the region. Her career has allowed her to combine her passion for people with her ability to develop strong and lasting relationships.
Yolanda continues to remain actively involved with her Wiley family. She currently serves as Treasurer of the Houston Wiley Club and Treasurer of the 90’s Boyz, Turner Girlz & Friendz. Through her alumni involvement, she is committed to supporting Wiley, strengthening lifelong connections among fellow alumni, and giving back to the community. Yolanda is also a devoted wife, proud mother of two adult children—a son and a daughter—and grandmother of three.
As Homecoming approaches, Yolanda proudly reflects on the friendships, memories, sisterhood, and foundation that began at Wiley. Her love for her alma mater continues to inspire her service and involvement today. For Yolanda, Wiley represents more than a college experience—it represents family, lifelong connections, cherished memories, and a legacy she is proud to carry forward.
