Upper Peninsula Rainbow Pride (UPRP) was established in the summer of 2013. It takes courage to be you in a world that tells you otherwise. Rainbow Pride, P.O.

Our mission is to elevate pride events in the UP, to make connections between all of the UP-wide 2SLGBTQIA+ organizations, and to provide and share supportive resources to the community. Our organization consists of people of all backgrounds with one common goal: to bring PRIDE to the UP! We are passionate about providing safe spaces, offering resources, and connecting 2SLGBTQIA+ groups across the Upper Peninsula. UP Rainbow Pride believes that everyone should be free to express their s*xuality and gender in a way that is healthy and affirming. Pride is having the freedom to embrace your identity while being able to overcome the obstacles faced on a daily basis. Pride is unconditional love: the belief that everyone should be free to explore and celebrate their identity regardless of race, national or ethnic origin, ancestry, color, s*x, s*xual orientation, gender, gender identity, gender expression, gender transition, genetic information, age, marital status, familial status, political belief, religion, citizenship, veteran or military status, medical condition, or mental or physical disability. Pride is about living and loving authentically, which everyone should be able to do fearlessly.

Join us at The Up North Lodge's Event Center on November 19th from 6-8pm for a night of fun, crafts, and community! We will have our Clothing Swap set up, as well, for anyone looking for gender-affirming clothing! Come hang out, grab a bite from the Lodge, and enjoy time with community!

You'll be a part of our "small but mighty" impact-driven team, in service of our local Trans, Nonbinary, and Gender-Expansive community. 🏳️‍⚧️

GRTF supports and celebrates Trans folks in West Michigan, and plays a vital service-focused role in helping them flourish. ✨ Do you want to be an integral part of that mission?
