Waymark Foster Our mission is to give hope, skills and support to youth in foster, adoptive and group homes through camps, mentoring and skills-training.

Lisa shared a powerful message of HOPE with the young ladies at camp, pointing each of them back to the truth that God is their one true refuge in every season of life, in the joyful moments and through times of trouble.

No matter what they face, they can find hope, comfort, and security in Him.

We love all the activities, special events, and fun that make camp memorable, but chapel is where it all comes together. These moments create space for youth to hear the clear message of the Gospel and learn about the lasting hope found in a relationship with Christ.

Our prayer is that every young person who attends Waymark programs would leave knowing they are deeply loved by God and that they can turn to Him in every season. ๐Ÿ’™

Our Gala is always such a special evening of thanksgiving as we reflect on all that God has done throughout the year and celebrate the lives that have been touched and changed through the hard work of our staff, donors, and volunteers.

๐Ÿ’™ Thank you, Journey Weekend volunteers! ๐Ÿ’™

This past weekend would not have been possible without the incredible people who gave their time, energy, and hearts to serve our campers.

From staying in the cabins as leaders and intentionally pouring into the youth in our programs, to planning special events and activities, to serving behind the scenes as support staff, every contribution made a difference. Each role played an important part in creating a weekend where youth could experience connection, belonging, encouragement, and the love of Christ.

Thank you for showing up, serving with joy, and loving the youth entrusted to our care. Through conversations, acts of kindness, and moments of simply being present, seeds of hope, love, and truth were planted. We may not always get to see how those seeds grow, but we trust the Lord with every one of them.

One teen shared this after the weekend:

โ€œWhat I learned at camp was that God is my anchor, my refuge and rock.โ€

THIS is why we do what we do, and why every โ€œyesโ€ matters.

Thank you so much to the wonderful group of women who came out last night to help with our Teen Girls Tea Party! ๐Ÿ’™

This was such a special evening, and it was so sweet to see the intentionality and love each of you poured into the girls. From creating a beautiful experience to simply spending time with them, you helped make the evening one they will remember.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this special event happen! We always love when outside groups come alongside us to make a part of camp extra special for our campers.

Apart from a short rain shower earlier this morning, the weather has allowed for all kinds of great activities around camp!

While these moments might not look like much from the outside, we see so much more happening through them. We see the light in campersโ€™ eyes as they try something new, conquer something that feels intimidating, and build closer relationships through shared experiences.

These are the moments where confidence grows, friendships form, and new memories are made.

We could not be more excited to have all of these amazing young people here with us! We are already seeing so much fun, connection, and joy happening throughout camp.

A BIG shoutout to all of our incredible volunteers, both leaders and support staff, who are working behind the scenes and alongside our campers to make this week possible. We are so grateful for each of you!

As we head into this afternoon and evening, we would love for you to be praying for our special events! Pray that these moments would be filled with fun, meaningful connections, and opportunities for every camper to feel known, valued, and loved.

Camp is off to a great start! ๐Ÿ•๏ธ Last night, all of our campers arrived, checked in, settled into their cabins, enjoyed dinner, played some games, and had plenty of time to hang out!

This morning, our students will have their first chapel meetings. Please pray for open hearts, ears, and minds as we share Godโ€™s Word with them! ๐Ÿ™โค๏ธ
