That's a wrap on Waymark Summer Camps 2026! 🌊💙

What an incredible week! We have so many stories to share and so many moments to celebrate, but today we simply want to say thank you.

Thank you, God, for all You did this week. Thank you to every volunteer, Big Camper, donor, prayer partner, and behind-the-scenes supporter who made camp possible.

Because of your generosity and willingness to serve, children and teens experienced joy, belonging, hope, and the love of Christ. Lives were impacted, memories were made, and seeds were planted that will last far beyond this week.

We could not do it without you!

Meet Coach Lee and hear all about what happens down at the fishing dock! 🎣

Fishing is always one of the highlights of camp and, for many of our campers, it's their very first time casting a line. This week our campers caught an incredible 225 fish!

There’s nothing quite like watching a child’s face light up when they feel that first tug on the line. Those moments of excitement, confidence, and accomplishment are memories they'll carry with them long after camp is over!

A huge thank you to Coach Lee and Mrs. Gina (stay tuned for her introduction video!) for investing in these kids, teaching them new skills, and helping create memories that will last a lifetime! 💙

Wow! This week has flown by. We can hardly believe it is already the last day of camp!

Over the past week, we have had the privilege of building relationships, making memories, and pouring into each and every camper. Watching these children and teens experience connection, belonging, and encouragement has been such a gift.

As camp comes to a close, we would ask for your prayers as campers return to their foster and adoptive homes, pray that they would hold on to the truths they learned this week and that they would stay connected through Waymark's year-round programs.

This is why mentorship matters so much. Camp lasts for one week, but mentors have the opportunity to walk alongside youth throughout the year, providing the consistent support and encouragement that can change a life.

Did you know every child and teen who attends a Waymark camp leaves with a handmade scrapbook full of memories from their week?

Our photography team captures special moments throughout camp, and for months leading up to camp, dedicated volunteers prepare materials to make scrapbook day possible!

Today, nearly 100 scrapbooks will be assembled by hand before campers head home! We're so grateful for the volunteers who make this labor of love possible.

We believe God does big things during camp, and we want every camper to leave with a reminder of what they experienced and learned. ❤️

Tuesday night, we celebrated Everybody's Birthday Party! 🎉

This is one of the most meaningful traditions at camp each year. We want every child to know that they are worth celebrating and that the day God brought them into the world is a special one.

For many of the children we serve, birthdays can be overlooked amid the challenges and instability they have experienced. That is why this night is so important. It is an opportunity to create joyful memories, celebrate each child individually, and remind them that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved.

This year's theme was Star Wars, and the evening was filled with lightsaber duels, costumes, sweet treats, gifts, laughter, and plenty of fun!

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and helped make this event possible. The smiles on these campers' faces are a direct result of your generosity and support. Moments like these become treasured memories, and we are so grateful for the role you play in making them happen!

Here are a few snapshots from our Princess Ball on Monday night! 👑✨

This is always one of the most special events of the week! It is a chance for the girls at camp to get dressed up, feel celebrated, and be reminded of how precious they are.

At Waymark, we want every girl to know that her value comes from far more than her appearance. She is beautifully and intentionally created by God, gifted with unique strengths, talents, and a spirit that reflects His love.

One of our favorite moments from this year's Princess Ball was watching our teen girl campers help the younger girls get ready for the evening. From fixing hair to sharing encouragement and excitement, it was a beautiful picture of community, belonging, and leadership!

From managing medications to responding to everyday bumps and bruises, our incredible medical team works behind the scenes to ensure every camper can focus on what matters most: having fun, building relationships, and making unforgettable memories.

We are officially on Day 3 of camp, and we are off to a great start!

So far, the week has been filled with fun activities, great meals, lots of laughter, meaningful conversations, and unforgettable memories. Most importantly, our campers have been spending time learning truth from God's Word and being reminded that they are known, valued, loved, and never alone.

Thank you for your continued prayers for our campers, volunteers, and staff as we head into the second half of the week. Please also pray for good weather so that everyone can fully enjoy all of the exciting activities camp has to offer!

From trying on dresses to picking out shoes and the accessories that bring it all together, there's lots of excitement, laughter, and a little bit of friendly chaos along the way.

Did you know that every Waymark camp and event includes trained mental health volunteers who are there to support our campers?

Many of the youth we serve have experienced trauma, instability, and other challenges that can impact their mental and emotional well-being. Because of that, it's incredibly important to us that we care for each child thoughtfully and provide support when they need it most.

Take a look behind the scenes at the Bubblegum Room! 💙 This is a safe space where campers can come to decompress, move their bodies, talk with a trusted adult, and use tools that help them regulate their emotions so they can return to camp feeling supported and ready to engage.

A huge thank you to our Care Team for the incredible role they play in making camp a safe and welcoming experience for every child.
