Out of an abundance of caution and in consideration of everyone’s safety, due to the inclement weather predicted to impact the Atlanta area this weekend, the Celebration of Life for George and Betty Klein has been postponed.

The celebration will now take place on Sunday, February 22.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to gathering together soon to properly honor and celebrate the beautiful lives of George and Betty. 💙🎶

We have had another successful Benefit Concert (Our 5th) raising almost $2,600 for Music Education and Musicians in Need.

I want to first thank everyone who came, bought tickets, bought raffle tickets (the Big Green Egg was won by Adrienne Smith), bid on the silent auction and bought the butterfly tattoos. I sincerely hope everyone had a great time.

I also want to thank all the fantastic musicians who performed at this year’s show. We had some really great performances including reunions of bands and musicians with some great new music.

We couldn’t put this event on without all the sponsors that provide everything from the graphics (Create Graphix), stage and sound (Southeast Elite Entertainment), equipment for the bands (Avatar Events Group), the Atlanta Blues Societyy, the fabulous food ( Parsley's Catering) and the beautiful location ( The Hunt House / the Gardens at Kennesaw Mountain).

Lastly and most importantly, I want to thank my wonderful wife Tammy and the ladies she recruited (Annelie, Jennifer and Kimberly). Without them assisting, we could not raise the money for the charities and have this event.

Looking forward to the next year’s event and our ability to keep improving. Until then, please support the bands you heard and music at The Hunt House.

The Atlanta Blues Society and Breathe Easy Dekalb presents the 6th Annual Atlanta Women in Blues, curated & hosted by Diane Durrett!

In conjunction with Tunes by the Tracks, this highly anticipayed show takes place on THIS Friday, September 19, 2025, 7pm-9:30pm at Outrun Brewing Company, 5368 E. Mountain St, Stone Mountain, GA 30083. FREE to attend - all ages

Once again we are getting together the most talented Atlanta women in blues. This is always a great event which draws a large crowd. This year, Tunes by the Tracks will be moving their stage set up to Outrun Brewing Company in Stone Mountain, just around the corner from the old location.

Outrun will be in full swing, serving up unique and flavorful craft beer, alongside village restaurants and some of our shops keeping late hours. With a beverage in hand and food options from local Village favorites - or from Outrun’s invited food truck - it all adds up to a perfect evening. Bring your chair and your dancing shoes and get ready to have a fun night of music and camaraderie. Rain or shine (unless lighting is detected), no admission, smoke-free.
