Praying for Evan Gershkovich, Paul Whelan, Alsu Kurmasheva, Ilya Yashin, and Vladimir Kara-Murza that today they might be freed from Russian prisons and penal colonies. Giving thanks for the Biden State Department, German officials, Turkey for mediation and dedicated lawyers like Maria Eismont who have tirelessly worked to support these individuals.

I can’t sleep. It’s around 4AM here in Atlanta and I’m was sitting on the bed and just looked at my phone. It’s 11:22am in Kyiv and they’ve had another air raid alert. Children have had to run to shelters in the middle of their morning, in fear for their lives.

My prayer, “Oh God of Peace, keep these your precious children safe. Guard them with your armor. Cover them with your love and fill them with that innocence and courage you give every child to show us how to live in peace and to show us your love for us.”

These children are enduring so very much. Please take a moment in your day to pray for them.

I saw “Wicked” again last night. It is my favorite musical in large part because it touches my heart. In some parts bringing me to tears.

I’ve felt “Green”… have you?

Everybody deserves a chance to fly! There have been so many times I’ve tried, sometimes literally as a pilot who has talked himself as his own worst enemy into a failed checkride, sometimes figuratively.

And close friends and family have meant all the world to me: those few but permanent, enduring, “years can pass by and we pick up just where we left off” people, those people who touch your heart.

How many of my friends feel green?

We are on the verge of starting a new, multi-year project in Ukraine helping kids traumatized by war…not feel green.

For the first time in my life, maybe I can truly make a worthy difference.
