Location: Como Park East Pavilions
1199 Midway Parkway, 55103 (Como and Midway Parkway) (East Picnic Ground)

Volunteers will connect with community members in groups of 4 - 5, working 2 and a half-hour shifts. The first shift starts at 10:30 and helps set up, and the second shift starts at 12:30 and helps clean up.

The MN Board of Marriage and Family Therapy (BMFT) has shared proposed changes to the rules that govern the practice of Marriage and Family Therapy in MN.

To help our members better understand these proposed changes, MAMFT developed a summary (linked below) listing areas likely to impact providers, pre-clinical members, and supervisors.

MAMFT has no objections to these rule changes and sees how some proposed changes support pre-licensed providers while aligning the rules governing MFT licensure in MN with other regulatory boards.

MAMFT encourages our members to independently review the complete proposed rule changes, or the BMFT's Summary as well.

If you would like to participate in the public comment period or request a public hearing for these rule changes, please notify Jennifer Mohlenhoff, the BMFT's Executive Director @ [email protected].

Deadline to submit a comment or request a public hearing for the rule changes is Monday, June 8th, 2026, at 4:30 PM.
