Skylar’s Scholarships

Lindy and Eve are in foster care through German Shepherd Rescue, Inc. and the director of the rescue wanted to be sure they got a “Skylar’s Surprise Box” to help make them feel a bit more special than they already are!

Don’t worry girls, the boxes have been shipped and are on the way!

BIG thanks to the awesome person who picked up the boxes and made sure they got to UPS yesterday so the girls didn’t have to wait much longer!

Doug was saved by German Shepherd Rescue Inc. - he has Epilepsy and his foster mom works long hours and cannot always be home to give him his meds and take him for a walk. So, we are giving Doug the gift of a dog walker/medicine giver for 1 month, so he can stay in the foster home and still get what he needs.

We will also be gifting him a Skylar’s Surprise Box, but don’t tell him, it’s a secret!

Someone has been taking the entire box of goodies at one time lately. We will continue to stock the stand, but only fill it 1/2 full for now. We hope those that enjoy the stand and have been super respectful will continue to enjoy it 😊

The sweet girl from Isanti Animal Control found her forever home!

10/15/2026

Say hi to Smokey!

Smokey was rescued from a backyard breeding/chronic neglect case and was taken in by an individual who cared.

He is 3 years old, neutered and up to date on shots. He does have some skin issues and is currently on Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach. He weights 90 lbs.

Smokey is reactive with other dogs and also cats, but has shown some promising behavior socializing slowly with the rescuer’s large breed dogs.

If you would like to learn more about Smokey, please reach out to us and we can put you in touch with the person who is caring for him currently. They really want to find him the loving home he deserves.

Location: Eau Claire - they are able to transport him to a new home.

Rescue or Adopter needed!

This sweet girl was found as a stray and has been hanging out with the good people at Animal Care & Control Isanti County & Ham Lake & North Branch.

They think she is about 4-5 years old, they have been brushing her daily a few minutes at a time and she tolerates it. They say she is a strong girl - likes to jump and put her feet on your shoulders. She also loves couches, she’s a bit nosey and likes to carry on conversations with you!
She will just lay on the couch while Michelle finishes the chores in the office. Although she seems to love it there, she deserves a home of her own.

If you have any interest in this sweet girl, please reach out to them! If you’re not the right fit, please give her a share!
