Yappy Hour at Bone Marché never disappoints, and yesterday was extra special for us!

Sweet Nellie arrived with Darci from DarciDog Sanctuary for her very first outing since being found as a stray and brought in by Isanti Animal Control. She was understandably nervous at first….but WOW , what a difference just one hour can make.

Nellie really seemed to blossom right before our eyes. Her tail, which was tucked under when she arrived, was wagging, she was smiling and happily accepting treats and affection. She even enjoyed her shopping spree and picked out all her favorites like a pro.

We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who showed her patience and love, and for Bone Marché for welcoming us back once again. Days like this remind us just how amazing community can be.

Kota got his stitches out last week and his mom says he’s moving so much better after his surgery.

Today’s his 6th birthday and they are taking him for a pup cup to celebrate!

Happy birthday Kota - here’s to many more pain free years!

German Shepherd Rescue Inc. finally got a diagnosis for Wolf. He has a rare condition called Progressive Angiomatosis.

Today Wolf was getting his leg amputated and they reached out for another special box to be delivered to his foster home.

We filled it with LOTS of enrichment items to help keep him busy while he recovers.

Oklahoma Pet Collective Society recently helped with a cruelty and hoarding case.

Despite what they have been through, OPCS states they deserve safety, comfort and medical care - we couldn’t agree more with them and were happy to send them some funds to help with their care.

The sweet girl they named Nellie from Animal Care & Control: Isanti County & Ham Lake & North Branch was taken to the vet yesterday for her exam and vaccinations. Michelle told us that the vet staff said she was sweet and did terrific! She was scared of course, but she even let them weight her.

Once her visit was complete, we paid the bill and she was picked up by the great people at DarciDog Sanctuary. There will be so much more to come on this sweet girl as she progresses. If you want to follow her journey, make sure you like DarciDog Sanctuary page for all the updates!

“Roger Up” is a non-profit that offers veterans and first responders in need a safer and healthier path - located in Maple Lake, MN.

Their service dog program focuses on providing highly trained service dogs to support those living with physical and mental disabilities. Mitch is their Master Trainer and also runs his own training company called “Top Dog Training LLC”.

We were happy to contribute to their efforts.

Working together across organizations can be extremely rewarding.
