On Saturday, Makenna attended her Aquatennial Candidate Orientation and got a glimpse into what her exciting week as an Aquatennial candidate will look like. She spent the day meeting fellow candidates, learning about the traditions and events that make Aquatennial so special, and preparing for an unforgettable experience during the Best Days of Summer this July!

Thank you to the Maple Grove City Council for welcoming our ambassadors and candidates to share about the Maple Grove Ambassador Program. Our ambassadors enjoyed reflecting on their year of service, leadership, and community involvement, while our candidates had the opportunity to introduce themselves.

Help support the Maple Grove Ambassador Program with a fun night of bowling, prizes, and community fun — all while bidding on some incredible silent auction items!

📅 Date: Friday, June 19
🕔 Time: Two shifts available — 5:30–7:30 PM or 8:00–10:00 PM
📍 Location: Sundance Entertainment Center, Maple Grove
💵 Cost: $75 per lane (includes 2 hours of unlimited bowling for up to 6 bowlers + shoe rental)

Over the coming months, these young women will participate in workshops, volunteer opportunities, community events, and professional development experiences while growing as leaders, building friendships, and serving the Maple Grove community.
