Plans for a state-of-the-art performing arts center in Maple Grove are in the initial phase, but nonetheless have taken a significant step forward. The plans by Maple Grove nonprofit Avalanche Arts of Minnesota would build a 23,000-square-foot, 300-seat theater on a vacant 2-acre site at the intersection of Main Street and Lakeview Drive, directly across from the Hennepin County Library.

Last night was a blast! Thanks to Experience Maple Grove, Avalanche Arts was given a great big check for more than $5,000. We are so grateful to Greg and Anne at EMG, Shannon Curfman for bringing the house down, Kat Perkins for hosting, and The Lookout for providing a fun venue to enjoy some Blues and Brews!
