Meet the creative team of Shrek! Let’s meet Faith Hagen our Costumer. Her favorite moment in the show is “Forever” because the dynamic between Dragon and Donkey is so fun to watch. She would also be Dragon in real life because of the her sassy and fabulous nature. Faith has always had a knack for costuming as she used to buy the costumes for all of the cast members at Disney World.

Continuing to meet our artistic staff. Meet Rosalee Allard who is our Music Director. Rosalee loves all of the clever lyrics throughout the show, but “Who I’d Be” is her favorite because of all the harmonies. If Rosalee could be a fairytale character she would be The Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland because he is just so cryptic, weird, sings everything and can disappear! When not teaching or involved in a show Rosalee loves to spend her time traveling. For example, she will be road tripping the west coast after Shrek.

Shifting back to our staff meet and greets. We want to introduce you to our Backstage Manager Nicki Price. Nicki has been enjoying all of the hard work that the creative team has been putting in behind the scenes. If she could be any fairytale creature she would be Little Red Riding Hood which is a nod to her favorite musical Into the Woods when Little Red is sassy and bold. A fun fact about Nicki is that she has been working on shows with CCP since 1999!

Meet the cast of Shrek! Leyanna Johnson plays Donkey! Their favorite part of the show is being able to sing with our Dragon (Ariel). If they could play any fairytale creature it would be a witch. Leyanna has shown the cast some of their drawings and let’s just say that they are incredibly talented both on the stage and on paper.

Meet the cast of Shrek! Ben Olson plays Shrek! Ben’s favorite part of the show is Who I’d Be” and “When Words Fail” because both of those songs show the complex character that Shrek is. If Ben wasn’t rescuing princess’ from dragon guarded towers he would be Robin Hood because he thinks it would be fun to be a rogue hero and shoot a bow and arrow. A fun fact about Ben is that he has been singing since he was 5 and has won two silver medals in the World Choral Olympics

Meet the cast! Allison Tieman plays one of the Little Pigs, is part of the Happy People, and is a Duloc Dancer. Favorite moment from the show is “I Know It’s Today” because it is such a clever and touching song that suits Fiona’s character. Allison would love to be Belle in real life because of the huge library Belle gets. This is Allison’s first show with CCP in 10 years (which ironically to the previous sentence, was Beauty and the Beast)!

We have one more set of siblings to introduce you to! Theo and Meli Wermerskirchen!

Theo is our Little Shrek and Baby Bear. His favorite part of the show is the first scene because he gets to act with only facial expressions. If he could be any fairytale creature he would be Donkey because they are so funny. In his free time Theo likes to play Dungeons and Dragons.

Meli is our Teen Fiona and also appears as a Duloc Dancer and is part of the Happy People and Wedding Choir. Her favorite part of the show is anything involving Donkey and Shrek bantering and being funny. If she could be any fairytale character she would be the Sugar Plum Fairy because Meli grew up watching the Nutcracker Ballet. As you can see, both her and Theo’s last name is 14 letters long and contained almost half of the alphabet.

Meet the cast of Shrek! It’s time to meet our Fiona, Maddie Froehle! Maddie loves Morning Person because of the tap choreography involved in that number. She would love to be a woodland fairy with an apron wearing mouse roommate if she could be any fairytale creature. In her free time outside of theatre Maddie spends her time weaving baskets.
