Merely Players is seeking Production Technical Directors for each of our 4 shows this season! The first is The 39 Steps.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Ensure the completion and smooth operation of the technical aspects of the production.

Provide guidance for all technical systems, including but not limited to:

-Theatre in General

-Lighting Systems

-Set construction tools and equipment

-Production Intercom System

-Audio Systems

-Back of House Monitoring System

-Rigging Systems

Advise the Artistic Director and Production Team on the technical specifications, costs, usage, and safety of technical equipment required for the individual show.

Time commitment:

In-person attendance (unless virtual attendance has been authorized):

-Production Meetings (usually on Wednesday evenings)

-Set technical workdays (Friday evenings and Saturday mornings)

-Strike (following final Sunday matinee)

The production calendar for “The 39 Steps” runs from August 26th through October 19th.

Stipend: $350
