MY Place / Mankato Youth Place Inc We offer after-school and summer programs that build the social, academic, and health skills of members. Every kid is welcome at MY Place!

“MY Place” Mankato Youth Place, opened in October 2018 as Boys & Girls Club of Mankato to provide a safe place for kids after school and in the summer. In the fall of 2019 we began a transition to MY Place. The name is a reflection of community and youth engagement and ownership of the space.

This week my son is at overnight camp and will be gone until Friday! That doesn’t stop me from getting together with some other youth! My first adventure today was working with young artists at MY Place / Mankato Youth Place Inc! The middle schoolers had no fear of a blank canvas and jumped right in! 🎨

Huge thank you to Hunter at L&J Home Services for cleaning ALL of our inside and outside windows! We can't believe how much brighter everything looks. The difference is amazing, and we truly appreciate the hard work and attention to detail.
