UMN Extension Blue Earth County 4-H We welcome your opinions, and encourage open discussion about the topics we post.

Blue Earth County 4-H is a place where youth learn, lead, and build meaningful connection with adults who believe in them. 4-H is the University of Minnesota's youth development program and is open to all youth. Youth in kindergarten through one year past high school participate in short-term activities or long term clubs, where groups meet regularly to work on projects, perform community service

and develop leadership skills. 4-H youth will learn public speaking skills, how to collaborate, understand government and community and how to develop and reach life and career goals. Comments that are off-topic, inappropriate or offensive are subject to removal without notice, including comments that:

- Use offensive language or rhetoric, and/or are a personal attack
- Promote commercial enterprises
- Sell, or solicit offers to sell, goods or services for personal gain or

Join Blue Earth and UMN Extension - Nicollet County 4-H for an afternoon of camp-themed fun at the North Mankato Splash Pad! We’ll enjoy camp games and activities along with time to play at the park and splash pad.

The day camp will be held on Monday, June 22 from 12–4 p.m. and is open to youth in grades K–3. The cost is $10 per participant. Older youth are invited to join the fun as camp counselors for the day and help lead activities. z.umn.edu/NicolletSummerRegistration

This weekend we were at Ag Day at the Children's Museum of Southern Minnesota! Volunteers and youth had so much fun interacting with families and teaching about agriculture!! Blue Earth County Ambassadors and Minnesota 4-H Agriculture Ambassadors were also able to help with the ag safety trailer with the Southern MN Agricultural Center of Excellence! What a fun event!
