Congratulations to Lowell C. Dale, M.D., on being named Bethany Lutheran College's 2026 Distinguished Alumni Award recipient! A 1973 Bethany graduate, Dr. Dale is a longtime Mayo Clinic physician and internationally recognized leader in ni****ne dependence treatment. A historic day at Bethany!

Classes began today, officially marking the start of Bethany Lutheran College’s 100th academic year! As students and faculty returned to classrooms, President Gene Pfeifer spoke with KEYC News Now about the significance of the day and reflected on a century of God’s blessings upon Bethany Lutheran College.

For 100 academic years, Bethany has remained committed to providing a Christian education grounded in God’s Word, preparing generations of students for lives of faith, service, and purpose. As this historic year begins, we give thanks to God for His faithfulness throughout Bethany’s first century and look forward with gratitude and confidence to the years ahead.

Bethany Lutheran College is celebrating 100 years since it was bought by local church groups and sent on the path that would it to what it is today.
