At the New Hampshire Food Bank, we know that addressing hunger means more than providing food. It also means helping people build pathways to long-term stability and success.

That’s why we’re excited to see our new Preparation Cook Registered Apprenticeship Program featured in a recent Business NH Magazine / Laconia Daily Sun article. Developed in partnership with Apprenticeship NH and Manchester Community College, this innovative program provides participants with paid, hands-on training and classroom instruction to prepare them for careers in New Hampshire’s hospitality industry.

Through real-world experience in our Production Kitchen and with restaurant partners across the state, apprentices gain valuable culinary and workplace skills while helping support our mission to feed our neighbors in need.

We’re grateful to our partners for helping make this opportunity possible and for their shared commitment to strengthening New Hampshire’s workforce and communities.

🤩 Thank you to the 206 generous donors who supported the New Hampshire Food Bank and our NH Feeding NH program during this year's NH Gives campaign.

Together, we raised $73,446 through online gifts, matching funds, and prizes—support that will help provide fresh, nutritious food to our neighbors experiencing hunger while also supporting New Hampshire farms and local communities.
