Did you miss out on your FREE Hot Dog last week at National Night Out?

Well, we have quite a few left over so we're holding a pop-up grill out event at the Mount Horeb Swimming Pool on Wednesday August 12th at 12:00PM-1:00PM or until we're fresh out of dogs.

We'll be grilling out hotdogs and having chips and waters to go with for anyone who would like to swing by and hang out with officers.

This event is for anyone to attend, not just Pool Members.

We will have free books for kids as well which were donated by Reach a Child.

REACH-A-Child was recently honored to join the Middleton community and its first responders for National Night Out.

The evening featured dozens of community partners providing prizes, books and other fun items. Great food from Monk’s was served and Community Engagement Officer Brittany Blankenship worked diligently to ensure all had an enjoyable experience. Many thanks also to event organizer Marilyn Burke!

REACH-A-Child was recently honored to provide REACH BAG refills for the Milwaukee Police Department. Current board member Michael Ceccato and former board president Cory Erickson provided hundreds of new children’s books to representatives of District 3 for their use and for other districts.

All of the resources provided were made possible by a very generous grant from the Herb Kohl Philanthropies (represented by Sally Vliet).

We stopped by Milwaukee Police Department - District 3 to help deliver books and backpacks from Reach A Child that are used to support kids in crisis. What a great way to start the week!

REACH-A-Child was recently honored to partner with the Dane County Sheriff’s Office and the Mount Horeb Police Department in support of Police Lights Of Christmas “Cops at Culver’s”. We were pleased to provide free children’s books to the boys and girls enjoying lunch at the Culver’s restaurant in Mount Horeb.

REACH-A-Child was recently honored to partner with Dane County Deputy Hayley Collins and other awesome first responders for the “Kick it with a Cop” kickball event in the Town of Middleton.

Families enjoyed the friendly competition along with a great lunch, popsicles and many give-aways including books from REACH-A-Child. Well done, Deputy Colllins!

REACH-A-Child was recently honored to provide 20 REACH BAGs and hundreds of additional children’s books to the Beaver Dam Police Department.

It was a complete team effort with incredible help from Officer Edwards (Beaver Dam PD), Shannon Koele (Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce), Matt and Brian (Meta) and Michael (Mortenson - the project sponsor).
