We strive to be part of the solution to issues challenging families with a sick or injured child. Families are challenged with how to stay near and support a hospitalized child, how to afford staying together in another city while a child is undergoing treatment, or even getting basic medical and dental care in vulnerable communities. We use our resources to help families gain access to health care services during critical points in their children's lives. We help children and their families through our three core programs, the Ronald McDonald House, the Ronald McDonald Family Room in St. Mary's Hospital, and the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile.

A trip to the hospital can be scary for kids, especially when they don’t know what to expect. At our Teddy Bear Clinic, college students help children learn about medical procedures by practicing on teddy bears. From anesthesia to dental work, kids get to see what happens in a fun, kid-friendly way before experiencing it themselves. 🩺

While Harlow and Hadley were in the NICU, the Rardon family found comfort and support at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mid-Missouri. Now, the twins have made it a tradition to give back by volunteering at the House each year, even spending part of their birthday this year packing lunches and preparing a meal for families staying at the House.
