He's a Golden Retriever who spent three years training with WAGS, and this week he's officially joined the Madison Police Department as their very first clinical therapy dog!

Frost will work alongside peer support officer Brian Vandervest, showing up for MPD staff after critical incidents and difficult days. Officer wellness is serious work, and Frost is built for it.

"He opens doors, he breaks down barriers," Officer Vandervest said. "I think he's going to be an incredible tool for helping officers deal with trauma."

A huge thank you to Frost's volunteer trainers, Meghann Rapp, Jesi Hartman, and Lynda Ruchti. Three years of dedication, and now he gets to put it all to use.
