Wisconsin 4-H Youth Development Wisconsin 4-H Youth Development teaches leadership, citizenship and other invaluable life skills through fun educational experiences.

4-H reaches every corner of our state—from urban neighborhoods to suburban schoolyards to rural farming communities. In Wisconsin, with a network of more than 24,00 youth, 4-H helps shape youth to move our communities, state, country and the world forward in ways that no other youth organization can. Wisconsin 4-H is offered in partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of Extension.

💚 You are now able to submit nominations for the Wisconsin 4-H Hall of Fame!

🍀 The Hall of Fame recognizes 4-H volunteers, financial supporters, staff, and pioneers who made major contributions to the 4-H movement at the local, state, and national levels.

👥 Any group or individual is eligible to submit a nomination for consideration.

‼️ All nominations must be submitted electronically either through the Qualtrics form or by emailing the MS Word Doc to [email protected] by November 2, 2026.

🍀 After being informed that the CWF track at Ignite has been filled, we will be sending Wisconsin 4-H youth interested in Civic Engagement and Youth Empowerment to the Community Accelerator track at Ignite instead. This is another great opportunity for youth to explore civic engagement! If you have any questions about this change, please contact [email protected].

✍️ Registration is opening soon for Fall Forum 2026, held from November 6-8, 2026 in Stevens Point, WI!

🍁 At Fall Forum, participants can look forward to:
- An inspiring keynote address
-Opportunities to participate in dozens of youth- and adult-led workshops
- Choose-your-own-adventure interactive activities
- Reflection on the weekend and future goal setting

Time is in at the State 4-H Dairy Judging Contest. Good luck to all the competitors! A HUGE thank you to all of the farms that are allowing us to use their outstanding animals. A special shout out to Angie Ulness for all of her hard work with the contest - it wouldn't happen without your talent. A special thank your to our student workers Maya, Natalie, and Emily for all that they do to make these contests happen. And thank you to our scoring guru Mike Farrey for getting results out quickly. Last but not least, thank you to the volunteer coaches and parents that help these incredible young people find their spark and all you do to provide opportunities throughout the year. Look for contest results this week.
