One final standing O for Bjorn Berg.
At the close of Leadership Camp this summer, the entire camp gathered together for one final ovation for someone who has given so much to WASC.
For five years, Bjorn Berg has led the WASC as Executive Director with vision, passion, and an unwavering belief in the power of student leadership.
His impact reaches far beyond any single program or event. He has strengthened the WASC's programs, built relationships across our state, championed student leadership, supported advisors and volunteers, and helped shape the future of an organization that has meant so much to so many.
But perhaps his greatest impact has been in the people around him.
He has a remarkable ability to see potential in others—and to help them see it in themselves.
He has encouraged students to step forward.
He has challenged adults to think bigger.
He has invested in volunteers and leaders.
And he has left WASC stronger because of the people he believed in along the way.
Bjorn, as you wrap up your time as Executive Director on August 31st, we want to say thank you.
Thank you for your leadership.
Thank you for your dedication.
Thank you for your passion for WASC and for student leadership.
And thank you for the countless ways you have made this organization—and the people within it—better.
We are incredibly grateful for your five years of service as Executive Director and for the lasting impact you leave behind.
