Madison International Partners - CPC - English Conversation Time Madison International Partners (MIP) extends hospitality to internationals new to the Madison community.

We raise global awareness and promotes cross-cultural exchanges between Americans and internationals. English Conversation Time brings together international students, non-native students of the English language, and native English speakers in a relaxed atmosphere. Through informal conversations structured around weekly English language topics, we provide an environment in which the English langua

ge student can improve his or her conversational skills, learn more about the language, the American culture, and make new friends.

Our upcoming English Conversation Time will be held on this Friday (August 28) at 6:00pm at 944 E Gorham Street, Madison, WI. It is FREE. You are welcome to join us and share your culture and experience with other internationals and native English-speaking volunteers.

Free rides are offered: (1) Sheboygan Avenue (Bus stop by the Red Cross) at 5:00pm; (2) Eagle Heights (Brown Shelter) at 5:15pm; (3) Memorial Library at 5:30pm and 5:45pm; and (4) WESLI Dormitory (202 N. Hamilton Street) at 5:55 pm

Global Spouse Circle provides opportunities for international spouses/partners to make connections with Americans, develop friendships, and get support within the Madison community as they embark on a new life in the United States. Our members will have chances to have lunch together, celebrate festivals, or explore local landmarks.

This week, Global Spouse will meet on Thursday (August 13) since we will go on a pontoon boat ride (90 minutes) to explore the beauty of our local lakes in Madison. The trip will last 90 minutes (from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm). This is a great opportunity to see Madison from a completely different perspective. We have a limited spot.
