Madison International Partners - CPC - English Conversation Time Madison International Partners (MIP) extends hospitality to internationals new to the Madison community.

We raise global awareness and promotes cross-cultural exchanges between Americans and internationals. English Conversation Time brings together international students, non-native students of the English language, and native English speakers in a relaxed atmosphere. Through informal conversations structured around weekly English language topics, we provide an environment in which the English langua

What a fantastic event we just had, thanks to all of you (cooks, volunteers, and staff)! Your participation helped make International Cooking and Dinner a complete success last Saturday (May 31). Through preparing and sharing a variety of cuisines by our international community members, we learned more about other cultures and made meaningful connections. We had a chance to taste different delicious dishes from all over the world as well as have fun participating in the event. We look forward to seeing you again.

Our upcoming English Conversation Time will be held on this Friday (May 29) at 6:00pm at 944 E Gorham Street, Madison, WI. It is FREE. You are welcome to join us and share your culture and experience with other internationals and native English-speaking volunteers.

Free rides are offered: (1) Sheboygan Avenue (Bus stop by the Red Cross) at 5:00pm; (2) Eagle Heights (Brown Shelter) at 5:15pm; (3) Memorial Library at 5:30pm and 5:45pm; and (4) WESLI Dormitory (202 N. Hamilton Street) at 5:55 pm

Our Last International Cooking Dinner for this academic year is scheduled for Saturday, May 30th. As a reminder, we don't organize International Cooking Dinner in the Summer. If you miss this one you will wait until September for the next one.

This Wednesday (May 13), Global Spouse Circle will go on a field trip to the Arboretum to experience the springtime blooming of the lilacs. If you want a ride, the MIP van will pick you up in front of Eagle Heights Community Center (611 Eagle Heights Drive) at 12:30 pm. For those who plan to drive, we will meet next to the Arboretum Visitor Center (Parking lot: 2880 Longenecker Dr, Madison, WI 53713) at 1 pm. Join us with your children and friends.
