We are looking to hire a childcare director for the Hmong Intergenerational Child Care Center. At The Hmong
Intergenerational Childcare Center, we create a warm, welcoming space where children, elders, and families come together to learn from one another. Through play-based experiences, we honor Hmong language, culture, and traditions every day.
Our unique intergenerational program brings children and elders side by side, building meaningful relationships and a strong sense of belonging. Our program supports school readiness and shared learning experiences that strengthen community and connection.
We are looking for a caring and dedicated Director who is bilingual and bicultural in Hmong to lead our center. This person will help create a supportive, culturally rich environment for children, families, elders, and staff—someone who is excited to build relationships and be part of something truly special.
Main Duties:
● Ensure the health, safety, and quality of education for children
● Maintain quality standards and goals of the center
● Hire staff and provide coaching/training as needed
● Collaborate with staff to develop learning activities
● Maintain communications with parents of current and prospective students
● Promote the program to prospective families
Requirements
● Bilingual and bicultural in Hmong
● Meet DCF training and experience requirements for Center Director for 50 children or fewer
● High energy and positive attitude
● Strong oral and written communications skills; technology skills
● Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
● Must pass a full background check
