Hackett Hemwall Patterson Foundation, Inc. The nonprofit Hackett Hemwall Patterson Foundation (HHPF) is dedicated to advancing global health and transforming lives. Our work doesn't stop with healthcare.

Our service-learning mission trips, education, and training deliver life-changing medical treatments to underserved communities. The Hackett Hemwall Patterson Foundation, Inc. (HHPF) is more than just a medical organization—it’s a commitment to compassionate care and lasting transformation. Since our founding in 1969, we have been dedicated to delivering life-changing medical treatment to those wh

o need it most in some of the world’s most underserved communities. We specialize in treatments that provide relief from chronic pain, empowering patients to regain mobility and reclaim their lives. As the world’s leading teaching organization for prolotherapy, HHPF unites renowned physicians and healthcare educators from around the globe to offer unparalleled training for the next generation of medical professionals. Our veins and vascular programs deliver accessible, cutting-edge procedures that change lives rapidly. Our surgical ear, nose, and throat teams provide complex surgeries that would be otherwise impossible. But our mission extends far beyond pain relief. Through service-learning medical trips, we collaborate closely with local doctors and communities, not only treating patients but also empowering local healthcare providers through training that ensures our impact endures long after we leave. We’re committed to strengthening the overall well-being of the communities we serve, providing material aid to hospitals, nursing homes, and elementary schools, and ensuring that vulnerable populations are supported in every way possible. At HHPF, we believe in the power of healing, education, and sustainability. Every patient we treat, every doctor we train, and every life we touch brings us closer to building a healthier, more compassionate world. Join us on this journey and help transform lives—one community at a time. >> https://www.hhpfoundation.org/donation

Shoulder pain can limit more than movement. It can affect a patient’s independence, daily function, and quality of life.

And treating it well takes more than knowing where to inject. It takes the ability to feel the anatomy, identify the target, and use ultrasound to see with greater precision.

That’s why HHPF’s Shoulder Workshop brings these skills together through hands-on training in palpation, marking, and ultrasound-guided injection technique. Physicians rotate through stations, practice alongside peers, and receive direct guidance from experienced faculty.

It’s one part of what comprehensive training means at HHPF: building a broader clinical toolkit physicians can bring back to their patients.

An impactful medical conference delivers practical, evidence-based insights and skills that physicians can immediately translate into clinical practice to enhance patient care.

At HHPF, that starts before you even arrive: pre-recorded educational videos cover core theory and technique. From there, step-by-step, hands-on instruction takes over: palpation, marking, and ultrasound imaging labs, followed by cadaver ultrasound-guided injection labs.

Comprehensive training. Practical skill. Confidence you can bring straight into patient care.

The hip and pelvis are among the most complex regions to treat with confidence which is exactly why HHPF built a dedicated hands-on workshop around them.

Physicians rotate through live patient palpation, marking, and ultrasound imaging, as well as cadaver ultrasound-guided injection stations working directly with HHPF faculty in a low student-to-teacher ratio.

Seats for hands-on workshops are limited by design.

Small groups, real practice time.
