This past Wednesday we had the pleasure of rewarding two more students with scholarships through Lasting Angels. We love to give back to the MG community and attend this event each year where we see old and new faces in the same halls we used to walk. It means so much to our family as we carry on the legacy of our mom and grandma through the next wave of college students.

We’re just over a month away from the Monona Grove Scholarship & Awards Night on May 21, where we’ll honor the recipients of our 3rd annual Lasting Angels Scholarship! This year, we had another outstanding pool of applicants, making the decision especially tough. We’re excited to celebrate two incredibly deserving students, each receiving $2,500 toward their continued education. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

**MEET THE WINNERS!**

We are thrilled to announce Jayden Gramann and Paxton Braun as the 2024 recipients of The Lasting Angels Scholarship at Monona Grove High School! It’s our privilege to support these two accomplished and deserving students as they embark on their academic journeys at UW-Madison.

Featured Scholarship: The Lasting Angels Scholarship Fund was founded by two alumni of Monona Grove, Alec Dimmig (2016) and Anissa Dimmig (2019), to honor their late mother, Pauline Davidson-Dimmig and late grandmother, Althea Davidson. Pauline and Althea were intelligent and accomplished individuals who preached the value of education to their children, inspiring them to pursue their own college degrees. Alec and Anissa were both able to graduate from 4-year universities without any debt thanks to the hard work and savings of their mother and grandmother. As a way to give back to the Monona Grove community and honor the legacy of Pauline and Althea, this annual scholarship fund recognizes two graduating Silver Eagles for their hard work and relentless spirit as they begin the next chapter of their lives.
