Feeding Wisconsin Together, we are leading the way Forward toward a healthy and hunger-free Wisconsin.

Feeding Wisconsin is the state association of the six regional Feeding America food banks that provide food to all 72 counties of our state. Together, Feeding Wisconsin’s network provided 86 million pounds of food to Wisconsinites in every corner of our state in 2021. Together, with our food banks, food pantries, partners, and affiliated Hunger Fighters, we are leading the way Forward toward a healthy and hunger-free Wisconsin.

A statewide effort. A shared mission.

From celebrating new facilities and recognizing Hunger Heroes to engaging policymakers in conversations about food access, Wisconsin food banks came together over the last three weeks to showcase the impact of our hunger relief network.

These events highlighted the power of partnership and the importance of ensuring every Wisconsinite has access to nutritious food.

Thank you to everyone who opened their doors, shared their stories, and helped make our first Policy Maker Tour such a success!

With the Farm Bill set to expire soon, now is the time to speak up. Families across Wisconsin are feeling the impact of higher food costs. When grocery budgets don't stretch far enough, food banks, pantries, meal programs, SNAP (FoodShare in WI), and TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) help fill the gap.

Tell Senator Baldwin and Senator Johnson: Strengthen food assistance programs in the next Farm Bill and help people experiencing hunger regain stability.

Great news for Wisconsin! Wisconsin's SNAP payment error rate was just 5.72% last year, placing us among only nine states nationwide with rates below 6%. This milestone reflects the hard work of those who help keep FoodShare running effectively and means Wisconsin taxpayers could avoid an estimated $205 million in federal penalty fees next year.
