☀️ MAC Opening Delayed Today – Opening at 3:00 PM ☀️

The Madison Aquatic Center will have a delayed opening today and will open at 3:00 PM. According to our pool operating policy, the MAC remains closed when the temperature or "real feel" is below 65°F. Current forecasts indicate temperatures will reach 65°F by approximately 3:00 PM.

As a reminder, our closure and safety parameters include:

🌡️ The MAC will be closed when the temperature or real feel is below 65°F.

⛈️ If there is audible thunder, visible lightning, heavy rain, weather warnings, or any unsafe condition that limits lifeguard visibility or compromises patron safety, the pool and pool deck will be cleared. Patrons will be directed inside until conditions improve. Weather conditions will be reassessed every 30 minutes, and after 60 minutes of persistent inclement weather, the MAC may close for the remainder of the day with open swim moving to the Community Center.

🏊 Pool occupancy must remain at 10 or more patrons. If attendance remains below 10 patrons after the first 90 minutes of operation, the MAC may close early due to low attendance.

We appreciate your understanding as we prioritize the safety of our patrons and staff. We look forward to seeing everyone this afternoon!

Reminder!! Swimming lessons begin today. The pool will be closed from 10:00AM - 12:00PM (T/Th) and 4:00PM - 5:45PM (Mon-Thurs) starting today through June 25th!

🏋️ Bulldogs in Training Program
Focused on teaching proper technique, improving overall strength, and building a solid athletic foundation in a safe and supportive environment.

📝12:00 - 12:45 pm both sessions
⚡Overdrive Program
Designed to help athletes move quicker, react faster, improve coordination, and develop explosive power for sports and everyday performance.
These programs are perfect for youth looking to improve athletic ability, stay motivated, and have fun while training with others!
