Spirit of Madison Band This is the OFFICIAL page of The Spirit of Madison Band Parents Board, Madison, SD

We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation whose primary purposes are to promote, support, and encourage the associated activities of the Madison Spirit of Madison Marching Band students and other performing groups. Our goals are to provide volunteer and financial support to the band program, encourage students to strive for excellence in the art of music, and develop band spirit. We also strive to

give optimistic and positive support to the Band Director and all band members as well as develop a community awareness of the efforts of the band students and appreciation for their achievements.

Tonight's the night. Show starts 5:30.

The band has been working incredibly hard all day getting everything ready for the show, and they're excited to perform! Come out, show your support, and help make it a great night! They'd love to see a big crowd cheering them on!

IMPORTANT UPDATE TO FRIDAY'S PERFORMANCE! TIME CHANGE:

We need to unfortunately move the timing of the SOM Marching Band's performance of "Under the Lights" this Friday from 8pm to 5:30pm due to a scheduling miscommunication between Mr Baskerville and DSU. With this change, we will also need to alter the chaperone and pit crew timings as well. Parents, please see email sent for additional details.

We apologize for the last minute change to this performance and hope to see you Friday as we cheer on the SOM Marching Band and all the progress they have made over the last month with their new show "Voyage to Valhalla"

Help support a student for funds on the upcoming Marching Band trip summer of 2027 to Florida!!

Select a student you know from the drop down. If you don’t know anyone, select Band Director Brett Kroeger and the funds he gets will go back into the band general fund to pay for trip expenses such as transportation of uniforms and instruments or any other needs we will have for the trip!
