Interlakes Area United Way IAUW aims to improve the lives of people in need in Lake, Miner and Moody Counties. United Way believes everyone deserves opportunities to have a good life.

However, advancing the common good is less about helping one person at a time and more about challenging systems to help all of us. We envision a world where all individuals and families achieve their human potential through education, income stability and healthy lives. IAUW's goal is to create long-lasting changes by working together as a community towards a brighter future. Our local agency par

tners do great work every day, understanding there will always be a need for basic necessities and prevention and development programs. Through our community impact work and their continuing involvement, United Way will help create lasting change.

Big news for local non-profits and Community Partners! 📣

IAUW has launched a new Community Impact Grant process for 2027.

We've created 2️⃣ funding paths to better fit the size and scope of your request:

👉Micro-Grants (under $500)
👉Standard Grants ($500 and above)

The goal is simple: make smaller funding requests easier while continuing to responsibly invest in larger community programs.

🗓️Applications are available now, with a deadline of September 30.

From high-fives and smiles to lots of cow sightings along the parade route, we loved celebrating with our neighbors and sharing a little excitement.
