πŸ₯¬ 700 pounds of fresh cabbage can make a big difference at the table.

A huge thank-you to the incredible volunteers at Geezer Gleaners, who donated 700 pounds of high-grade cabbage to Extended Hands Pantry last Friday!

This beautiful harvest will help fill bagsβ€”and kitchensβ€”with fresh, healthy produce for our neighbors. Every cabbage represents a meal, a family, and a reminder that when our community works together, hope grows.

Today, because of the generosity of supporters like you, we have a newer, better-equipped truck to continue and expand this important work. Every delivery, every food pickup, and every family served is possible because people choose to give.

Today, we visited Forward Gardens and saw the beautiful harvest being prepared for our community. Fresh watermelon, sweet corn, garlic, peppers, and tomatoes are on their way so you and your family can enjoy nutritious, delicious produce.

What an amazing Back-to-School event! πŸŽ’βœ¨

Seeing so many children and families come together, laugh, connect, and get excited for a new school year was truly inspiring. From fun activities to big smiles, this day was a beautiful reminder of what community can do when we show up for one another.

A new school year means new opportunities, new goals, and so much potential. Let’s continue encouraging our children to dream big, stay confident, and know that they have a community cheering them on every step of the way! πŸ’š
