Freedom is more than the absence of chains. It’s dignity. It’s access. It’s the ability to live fully and freely.
Many of the generations who came before us fought for freedoms they would never personally enjoy.
That alone deserves respect.
Juneteenth reminds us what is possible when we refuse to stand still in the face of injustice, turn hope into action, and work toward a society better than the one we inherited.
Today, we honor that legacy by carrying it forward.
