The Humane Society of Bergen County / Lost Pet Inc. This new facility is even bigger, better and an absolute joy!

is a local animal organization that serves many counties within New Jersey and tries to change our world - for the better. It's been over 20 years since a fire devastated our East Rutherford facility and we're in full swing now at 221 Stuyvesant Avenue in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. We invite you to come in and meet all of our wonderful pets for adoption.

Our hearts are so full! 💗🐾 A heartfelt thank you to Ms. Gravina’s kindergarten class at Hoboken Catholic Academy for showing our shelter pets so much love! From your adorable adoption posters and thoughtful doggy treat bags to your incredibly generous collection of donations, you’ve made a difference for animals waiting for loving forever homes. We are so touched by your kindness and grateful to have such wonderful young animal advocates cheering on our furry friends! ❤️🐈🐈‍⬛🐹🐾

🖤Meet Paxton, a little gentleman in a black coat 🐈‍⬛

Some cats demand the spotlight, but Paxton is perfectly happy keeping things sweet and simple. At just 8 months old, this handsome black kitty is already a laid-back little gentleman who enjoys attention, loves a good petting session, and is content just being in your company.

Paxton is neutered, up to date on his vaccines, and gets along well with other cats! He is ready to trade shelter life for a cozy home, a comfy spot to nap, and someone to share his quiet moments with.

Could this handsome little guy be the missing piece of your family? 🏡🖤Contact us to learn more about adopting Paxton🐾
