Another great Golf Classic is in the books.

Perfect weather, a sold out course at Glen Ridge Country Club, and our Chamber mascot even got a few holes in. Thank you to everyone who came out and to every sponsor who made the day possible, from morning check-in to the evening reception.

Watch the highlights in the video, and mark your calendar. We're heading back to Glen Ridge Country Club on Monday, September 28th for the Meadowlands Cup, a 2-person team corporate golf challenge presented by Hackensack Meridian Health

Thank you to everyone who joined us at our August Monthly Networking Meeting, which doubled as the official kickoff of this year's Meadowlands Basket Brigade.

The room showed up in a big way. Together we raised $1,620(!) to put Thanksgiving on the table for local families in need, and that number is only the starting line.

A sincere thank you to every member who donated. Whether you gave at the meeting or committed after, you moved this forward.

Thank you to our Construction Resources Group for organizing the Basket Brigade once again. This program has been carried by our contractor and building services members for more than a decade, and their commitment is the reason it keeps growing.

And a special thank you to CRG co-chair's Esther Cirelli and Susan Kelminson for leading the fundraising effort this year. Their hustle, follow-through, and willingness to ask set the tone for the entire kickoff.

The Basket Brigade has always run on a simple idea: one small act of generosity from one person can change the holiday for an entire family. That idea shows up every November when our members trade a Sunday morning for a warehouse full of baskets.

Mark your calendar. Our Basket Brigade takes place Sunday, November 22 at NJ Friendship House. Volunteers, donors, and delivery drivers are all needed.

In our latest spotlight, Anita Marks sits down with Sal Caldarone to welcome Provident Bank to the 2026 Meadowlands Cup! As New Jersey's oldest bank, Provident has a strong legacy to uphold, especially since their boss, Chris, has previously taken home the trophy.

Sal and his partner Jim are ready to take on the pressure of this two-person better ball competition. It’s one company, one trophy. Beyond the competition on the beautiful greens of Glen Ridge Country Club, this event is vital for supporting the Meadowlands 2040 Foundation and our local community.

Will your company be the one to lift the cup this year? Click the link in the comments below to reserve your team today!

"Ron needs to be partnered with a winner."

Anita Marks sat down with Dan Loughlin, Vice Chairman, Brokerage at JLL, who has never played the Meadowlands Cup and has already announced he's carrying his teammate.

In fairness to Ron: three appearances, a second place finish and a fifth. As Anita pointed out, not too shabby.

In fairness to Dan: he calls himself an uber competitor, and he says the reason he loves this tournament is that everybody shows up wanting to win it.

That's the Meadowlands Cup.

AI is everywhere. But what does it actually mean for YOUR business?

That’s the question we’re tackling at the 2026 Thought Leaders Conference on September 25 at World of Blue in East Rutherford.

Join the Meadowlands Chamber for a morning focused on practical AI adoption, not hype, predictions, or empty buzzwords.

🤖 What’s on the agenda?

• Keynote from David Cole, Chief Innovation Officer, State of New Jersey
• Practical AI use cases and where businesses can start
• Responsible AI adoption, governance and risk management
• A Tech Expo featuring New Jersey based AI and technology companies
• Networking with business leaders, innovators and decision makers

Come ready to learn what’s working, see AI in action, and leave with ideas you can actually put to work.
