Body Shaking Exercise
Master Glenn J. Mendoza, MD
Body Shaking Exercise is a simple grounding movement practice used after intense, deep, and profound meditation to safely shift focus from deep internal states and anchor it back to the present moment. This grounding and rooting exercise prevents feelings of spaciness, lightheadedness, or feeling ungrounded after deep meditations.
Grounding Exercises, like the Body Shaking Exercise after meditation, help safely transition the mind and body from a deeply relaxed state back to everyday alertness and physical awareness. The health benefits and properties of body shaking exercises are now just being studied and scientifically documented.
Procedure:
Stand Up: Put your feet shoulder-width apart. Keep your knees soft and slightly bent.
Relax: Let your arms, wrists, and shoulders hang loose.
Bounce: Gently bounce up and down from your feet up to your knees and create a soft vibration in your body.
Shake Out: Let the movement travel from your feet up through your hips, spine, shoulders, hands, neck, and face.
Do this for 3-5 minutes.
Energetically, deep and profound meditations tremendously expand one’s consciousness as well as the bioenergetic field. This Body Shaking exercise is one of Pranic Healing and Arhatic Yoga techniques that will pull pranic energy from the bioenergetic field to one’s physical body and, more explicitly, to the cells—increasing vibrations, which will be used for multiple purposes and positive benefits.
