PACC Foundation People are capable of improving the lives of others through their actions. Cancer patients face especially difficult challenges and obstacles.

The PACC Foundation – Positive Actions to Conquer Cancer is a non-profit organization that performs positive actions meant to lift the spirits of children and others stricken with various forms of cancer. When a person knows that someone cares, that person’s mood and outlook can be greatly improved. The PACC Foundation works to provide activities and support for those stricken with cancer, with a

focus on children. The goal of PACC is to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients by lifting their spirits and providing hope. PACC conducts fundraisers, sponsors activities that increase public awareness, harnesses the power of social media and especially mobilizes the talents and efforts of those who wish to help, but are not exactly sure of how to help. Through concerted effort and the actions of many, the world can become a more comforting and less fearful place for cancer patients.

Meet Leo, a 7th grade student who attends Lyndhurst Middle School. This holiday season, Leo, together with the support of his mother and father, decided to spread holiday cheer by organizing his very own toy drive in support of our organization, Positive Actions to Conquer Cancer Foundation.

Leo’s kindness, initiative, and compassion have made a meaningful impact. We are incredibly proud of him and extremely grateful for his desire to help children and families facing difficult challenges this holiday season.

We would also like to extend our appreciation to the community members who contributed to Leo’s toy drive. Your generosity helps us continue creating lasting memories and spreading hope where it’s needed most.

Again, we will have two drop off locations, The Lyndhurst Pastry Shop and Lyndhurst Police Headquarters Lobby area. Last night, Danielle and I spent time with Sgt. Vince DeFazio of the Secaucus Police Department. Sgt. DeFazio presented our foundation with a generous check of $2,500.00. The money was raised from their annual “No Shave November” campaign. Our foundation cannot thank the members of the Secaucus Police Department enough for their contribution and continued support.

On Monday, December 23, 2024 members of Positive Actions to Conquer Cancer Foundation made our toy drive delivery to Clara Maass Hospital. In addition to the delivery, members were able to walk around the hospital and hand out gifts to children battling illness this holiday season!

Positive Actions to Conquer Cancer foundation would like to thank the and the township Mayor and commissioners for allowing us to be a part of their annual first responder holiday parade.

Additionally, we owe a huge shout out to all the residents of Lyndhurst who took part in this event with us. We collected a large amount of toys along the route! We cannot thank you all enough for helping us spread some joy this holiday season!

Tomorrow the PACC Foundation will be participating in the Annual First Responder Parade! Team members will staff a pickup truck which will be the last vehicle in the parade! While driving through the parade route we will be collecting new/unwrapped toys for children battling cancer this holiday season. Any and all donation are greatly appreciated!
