My cleaning partner this morning. Tuxy is all about what ever his human is doing. He hates being in the kennel building and not right beside me. He wants out. He wants a comfy couch. A perfect addition to a home and well mannered. He prefers to be in a no dog home.

This handsome senior gentleman has already stolen our hearts. ❤️
Tux came into a shelter as a stray, and we have no idea how this sweet boy ended up alone. But one thing is certain… his life is changing now. 🥹💙
During his journey to Bentley Farms, Tux traveled with a toddler and was incredibly curious, gentle, and respectful. 🚼💙 What a good boy!
At around 7 years old, Tux has figured out that life doesn’t have to be complicated.
He’s not looking for chaos.
He’s not looking for endless adventures.
He doesn’t need much.
He just wants…
🛋️ A soft couch
❤️ A person to love
🐾 Someone to follow from room to room
🥰 Lots and lots of cuddles
🏡 A place to finally call HOME
Tux is truly the sweetest boy and would make someone an absolutely wonderful professional couch potato and loyal companion. 😂💙

Tux prefers a calm, peaceful environment and absolutely LOVES being near his people. He tends to attach especially quickly to female humans and would happily become your 98-pound shadow. 😂❤️
🐾 TUX DOES NEED TO BE AN ONLY DOG.
Tux is very nervous around other dogs and can feel the need to defend himself. He recently had an incident involving a male Sheepadoodle that resulted in an injury, so we are looking for a home where Tux can be the one and only canine companion.
And honestly?
Tux seems perfectly happy with that arrangement. 😉
He wants his PEOPLE.
He has also shown some anxiety when left alone, so his ideal family would be someone who works from home, is home frequently, or simply wants a giant, loving shadow following them around the house all day. ❤️
And then there’s the part of Tux’s story that breaks our hearts…
💔 Tux was found as a stray.
Somewhere along the way, he lost the home he once knew.
We don’t know what happened.
We don’t know how long he was alone.
We don’t know why no one came looking for him.
But we DO know this…
His story is changing now. 🥹💙
Today, Tux is at Bentley Farms.
Today, he is safe.
Today, he has people caring about him.
And hopefully, soon, he will have something he has been missing for far too long…
