Page One of Page County

Page One of Page County Page One is a charity serving Page County in Virginia. We also provide food to those in need through our Food Pantry.

Our humanitarian mission is to provide critical finiancial assistance and addressing food insecurity for those in need from loss of employment, sickness, or other unforseen circumstances. Page One assists families and individuals living in Page County with emergency assistance with rent, utilities, and some medical bills. Additionally, we have a special fund to assist cancer patients. Our three th

rift stores (2 in Luray and one in Shenandoah) provide the funds to keep our missions rolling (rent, utilities, payroll, insurance, repairs and maintenance, and office expenses). Page One's Missions Funds, however, come from donations and grants from our wonderful donors!

Page One would like to deeply thank everyone who participted in helping us make our Bingo night a success ! The proceeds will have a positive impact on our family assistance program. We thank all participants who played, not only for thier patience but also for thier input, as we worked out the kinks and helped make it a fun night. Congratulations to all who won some of the wonderful prizes that were provided by our generous local businesses in the Page County area. See you at our next event !

Special thanks to Billy, Justin and new hire team member John for going through all of the donations both inside and out of the shed and distributing them to their respective places!

A shout goes out to Jeff and Mary Turner, volunteer manangers of the Boutique Thrift Store who unlocks and locks the shed almost everyday! Doesn’t it look good?

We do appreciate the donations that the team were able to deliver to sorting rooms which in turn will be placed on the floor for sale at Treasures, the Boutique and Shenandoah Page One Thrift.

Treasures Thrift has been remodeling thanks to the kindly donation of glass shelving and display cases from Rainbow Hill. Once completed- we will have a wonderful way to display the items our community has donated.

New sign, but evidently some don't read! Items left outside often get damaged or sorted and taken by others at night! Items left in the shed are protected. If the shed is locked, please return another day when the shed is open. We love good furniture, but only in sellable condition. You can always call for info on donating furniture items, and if possible, even schedule a pickup. If left outside, rain can damage, as shown by this piece.

Though the Cake Wheel was cancelled ...the bake sale was a success. Our deep appreciation to Shenandoah 7 11 for hosting us this morning and to the Shenandoah Fire Department for allowing us to set up at the fairgounds. The weather was not fun but the events were. Our thanks to the community and those who braved the weather to support Page County ! More events to come keep an eye out !
