💙 Thank You, Page County! 💙

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our Camp Hope Supply Drive! Because of the generosity of our community, we collected essential supplies that will help ensure local youth attending Camp Hope have the resources they need for a positive and memorable camp experience.

We are especially grateful to our partners, PACA, Family Youth Initiative, Camp Hope, and Luray Walmart for helping make this event possible. Every donated item represents a community member investing in the well-being and future of our youth.

In addition to the donated supplies, community members contributed $380 in monetary donations, all of which was provided directly to Camp Hope to purchase additional needed items for campers.

A special thank you goes to our amazing volunteers: Misty, Raven, Hunter, Jacob, Shannon and her son, Mary, and Venus. Thank you for braving the heat and dedicating your time to support this effort. Community events like this are only possible because of volunteers who are willing to show up and serve others.

This supply drive is a reminder of what can happen when organizations, businesses, and residents come together to support children and families. Your kindness and generosity will have a direct impact on young people who deserve the opportunity to learn, grow, heal, and create lasting memories this summer.

Thank you for showing up, giving back, and helping make a difference. Together, we are building a stronger, more caring community—one child at a time. ☀️🏕️💙

☀️🏕️Stop by Luray Walmart TODAY to support Camp Hope!

Community Works and PACA are holding a supply drive for Camp Hope TODAY at Luray Walmart! This camp is for children ages 7-11 and provides a great summer camp experience here in the Shenandoah Valley. 🌄

Camp HOPE is focused on creating hope and healing-centered pathways through collaborative, trauma-informed care for youth exposed to trauma.

Last Saturday our volunteers were honored to volunteer at the Choices 3rd Annual Gala. We had a wonderful evening full of fun and community! 💎

Thank you to all the guests and volunteers who came out to show support for Choices of Page County and their goal of eradicating violence in Page County and providing trauma informed services to those experiencing domestic and sexual violence.

Our crew of volunteers were back on the hunt for trash this morning at the Alma Boat Landing! Thank you to all who showed up to volunteer their time and help remove trash before it made its way into the Shenandoah River. Without your help this work isn’t possible! 🏆

Together we removed a truck load of trash from the boat landing. We found lots of cans, cigarette butts, bottles, fishing line, construction debris, and all types of various plastics.🗑️🚬🛞🎣🫙🥤

Many thanks to the Shenandoah Riverkeeper for starting the Trash Free Shenandoah initiative 5 years ago and an extra thanks to our river clean up partners - the Friends of the Shenandoah River and the Page County Democratic Committee.
