In our weakest moments is where we will find our greatest strength. Strength comes from pushing and trying. When we are down to nothing, GOD is always up to something!

“Father, thank You that when my soul feels broken and wounded, You are the Good Shepherd who restores me. Thank You that if I fall into sin or if someone else has wounded me, You come and rescue me. I believe that You are working even now to fully restore my soul. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

All that I have seen teaches me to trust God for everything that I have not seen. Thank God for what you have and always trust Him for what you need!

Father, thank You for all the promises You’ve given me in Your Word. Thank You that I don’t have to stress out when I don’t see things changing because You have broken off the strength of what comes against me. I will believe first and declare that answers are on the way. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Be thankful for the things that didn’t turn out the way we thought they should. They open our eyes to see the good things that God has in store for us, that we weren't paying attention to before.

Father, thank You that You are the Most High God who rules over the nations. I recognize Your goodness in my life and where I am at today. You chose to bless me, to have mercy on me, and to take me where I couldn’t go on my own. I humble myself and give You all the glory. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Praise Him Through the Storm

It’s easy to praise the Lord when all is well and life is good, when prayers are answered, miracles are witnessed, and victories are won. We get confused about God when the opposite occurs. But God is God in good times and bad. In Job 13:15, Job says, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him” (NKJV). True faith praises through the storm. Job went to a whole lot of funerals in a short amount of time.

I realize that the way I live my life affects others. James 3:1 says that preachers are held to a higher standard. I’ve got a lot of eyes on me during a crisis, watching to see how I hold up. If I stumble, I may cause others to do so as well. Not that I grit my teeth and become a martyr. I press on, not only for my family and my church, but also for myself.

God’s grace and blessing ever flow. I serve others, doing my best to live in a manner worthy of the calling. God blesses me. Out of that blessing, I continue to serve others even more. And God continues to bless. Living water is never stagnant. It flows persistently, streams into rivers into the sea.

In this life there will be sorrow and pain. Wars will be fought. Disease will spread. Conflicts rise. But I would rather face a crisis with God than to face it alone.

God is too WISE to make a mistake, too POWERFUL to fail, and far too LOVING to ever hurt us. Call on Him today, for "He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless."

“Father, thank You that Your power to strengthen me in times of difficulty is greater than the greatest force that can ever come against me.
